Weather in Ohio
Where is Toto????? We left Elkhart, IN yesterday after an eventful night. We were just hanging out, I was actually doing the previous blog and Don was watching TV, and all of a sudden we heard a very loud POP! We lost our TV but the lights and computer stayed on. Well it didn't take long to figure out that the park had lost it's power and a transformer had blown. Everyone was running around trying to figure out what to do and firing up their generators. It was about 9:30pm when this happened and at about 10:30 we were told that the power would most likely be out for the night. Well I have told you how humid and sticky it has been so you can imagine how we felt. Thank God we can run at least one air conditioner with the generator. We finally went to bed about 11:30pm and slept off and on since Don had unplugged from the electrical outlet incase their was a power surge when the power came back on and that way we wouldn't fry everything, he kept checking to see if the power had come back on. The power finally came on about 3am. Of course
Weather
Oh wait, I think I see Auntie Em! Karlie wanted up to go poddy and then she was ready for breakfast and to stay up and play. NOT! We got her settled but then it was a travel day for us so we really did need to get up by 7am to get going. We stayed in bed until about 9am and as Don was out putting things away and unhooking guess what happened? Yep, it started raining! Poor guy, he was soaked by the time he finished. We got out of there around 10am and then we had downpours off and on all day throughout our journey here to Medina, OH. I took this picture out our front window somewhere after we had crossed into Ohio. Now I know that I am no expert but it sure looked like we could have been in a tornado at anytime. It was 82 degrees and we were in downpouring rain.
We made it here to Medina, OH in one piece and the RV park we are staying in is nice. In fact it may be my favorite one so far. There aren't very many people here so we practically have the area all to ourselves. It is very

Here is our lovely campsite. quiet, grassy, and clean. We are halfway between Cleveland and Akron so we can go to the places we want very easy. We found a daycare for Karlie that is right down the street and we are taking her there tomorrow so we will see how that goes. She probably won't want to come home (HA!) Well, I just had to share and show you the weather so that you could see that I am not lying when I say that we are having thunderstorms. Everyone is saying this is a very atypical summer for weather here. Guess we are just lucky. I will be blogging in a couple of days since we are going to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame tomorrow and the NFL Hall of Fame Sat. Might even hit a couple of DDD's in Cleveland too! Miss you all!
