Woke up (once again) with the sunrise, still coming off the amazing experience of Boston. It was no mistake in my head that today was to be a travel day, seeing as I only had 2 full days to get the little rental car back to its home in sunny CO. So I busted through NY and all of Pennsylvania. The roads by this time were getting awfully clogged with holiday travelers, and the multitude of construction zones throughout PA sure didn't help. By the time I got through OH and back to my parents' home, it was 8:00 at night. This was probably one of my most exhausting, and least eventful days. This morning I went out for a run since my body was craving physical exercise by this point. So I went up to the high school track/cross-country course and had an awesome run in the woods! Afterwards I ran into my old coach, Mr. Beard, who is still pretty much a regular fixture up there. This afternoon I hung out with my sister - we went to Meijer and I stocked up on some food for the road ahead. Soon after I headed towards Indy to see my friends Brian and Jodi from college, along with little Asher. Jodi is 9 full months pregnant with their second little one! Woke up early this morning - I always seem to wake up with the sunrise on the road. It's kind of primordial or something, kind of like the way life is supposed to be, and most likely the way it was for generations - going to bed when you're tired, waking up with the sun ready for the day. Drove thru Indianapolis and on to Ohio to see my family. I was really exhausted when I got there, just built up tiredness from the past couple days I guess.
