Before hitting the road for Niagara we visited the Top of the Rockerfeller Centre which gave us 360 degree views of NYC..it was absolutely breathtaking!
We travelled to Niagara Falls, on both the American and Canadian sides, the Canadian Falls being far superior as the vantage points are better. The Falls cascade 54 meters and spill up to 154 million litres of water per minute depending on the season. It is indeed a spectacle to see.
On our way to Niagara, we passed Elmira, where Mark Twain lived for part of his life and is buried. We found this quote that we'd like to leave you with
" Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."(1835-1910)
Everyone can take a little something from this.
