Our last day in New York saw us rising early once again to join the throngs of people in Soho lining up to get their hands on a legendary Dominique Ansel Cronut. This award winning bakery is world famous due to its invention of the Cronut - a croissant-donut hybrid. The lines begin to form an hour before opening and disappear around the block. Customers are limited to two Cronuts per person and there is only one flavour which changes monthly. This month's mouthwatering flavour is Rum, caramelised banana and brown sugar ganache. Thankfully I escaped June's flavour of Key Lime Coconut! It was well worth the wait, standing in line for over an hour, for one of these light, fluffy and creamy delicacies. Scrumdiddlyumptious was Izzy's description and Bruce and Lily collectively described it as a sub-tropical mouth storm.

Next stop is Orlando for two weeks of magic and thrill seeking. It will be nice to actually unpack our suitcases for a while and have some space. A week in to our fabulous trip, I have enjoyed every minute but now I'm ready to go see everyone's favourite mouse!
