Took a cruise past the Statue of Liberty. Weather now cool and cloudy, but still a few sailing boats on the harbour. Walked past Concorde and browsed through a huge SA thrift store. Off to the Gershwin Theatre to see the matinee of ‘Wicked’. Visually stunning, brilliant lighting, big sets, great monkeys and flying about. Full house. Standing ovation again. Good music that combined old Broadway with a newer rock sound. Quick trip to Macey’s and off to the Lincoln Centre to see South Pacific. Front row seat to see and hear the full orchestra and great stage performances. Understudies again, but good ones. God bless New York. I had a lovely time.
