Late-running flight from NYC to Atlanta on Thursday. Met up at the airport with Dave, who hadn’t changed a bit, except perhaps circumferentially. Out to dinner with Lyn and Roger for some lovely stuffed pork and asparagus. Off afterwards to the Globe for five or five pints. (I managed to stop Dave as he was ordering the shots…) On Friday Stephen very generously hosted a party at his condo and invited all my favourite Athens people. It was a good farewell gathering, with much laughing and great food.
