Greek ArmorGreek ArmorGreek Armor

The greek foot soldier used this helmet as part of this body armor. The helmet was made by hammering a disk of metal into the desired form.
Today we decided to move by cab. I was surprised to see that the taxis now have LCD monitors with GPS and up to the hour news and weather forecast. Is like having your own PC connected to the Internet but in the back of the car. The drive was short. The Metropolitan Museum building is impresive. Located in one side of the Central Park, it is composed of several buildings with different exhibits.

We were able to visit the GreeK and Romans exhibits, the Medieval art and the arms and armor exhibits. This is only 30% of the exhibits available. All the exhibits we saw were magnificient. Today I will let the pictures talk by themselves.
