Woah I've already spent 5 days in New York and I've seen so much. It feels like some mad crazy blur! I arrived at Long Island airport from Baltimore on Wednesday after an long exhausting....50 minute flight! It was fabulous - the plane took off and we had just enough time to use the bathroom before the seatbelt sign came on again and we prepared for landing. My cousin Chioma picked me up from the airport and I was wizzed into the fast paced life of New York. I'm still trying to get used to it. I was taken to my cousin's school where she pointed out her old dorm rooms and lecture halls. From there we scoured Roosevelt Field Mall, Garden City, Long Island. It was a nice place, and I did get one very ... read more

Well the summer is coming to a close. After my first week back at work with summer vacation over I journeyed out to my family's summerhouse on Long Island. Well actually, I didn’t actually get to go into my house. This was due to the previous night’s dart throwing/beer drinking down at the local and the inevitable morning after that caused me to forget the keys back in Westchester. I am beginning to sense a theme here. First it was my passport left in a Vienna hotel room, after a night out, that left me unable to get into Slovakia. Now here I was calling myself Tommy No Keys on Long Island. However, it wasn’t a total loss as my friend and I headed off to the beach. The Hamptons are really two different places. One ... read more

We took the subway down to Coney Island today for the Phish show at Keyspan Park. Coney Island is one big carnival, complete with roller coasters, elephant ears, and “Shoot the Freak”. Coney Island had a nasty beach front and a cool pier that people were fishing from. The Phish show was spectactular and the venue was even cooler. I never thought that I would ever see Phish at a baseball stadium. The rain during the second set of the concert was overshadowed by the superior set list and the awesome energy of the crowd.... read more

Horas después, empezó a moverse.
