These were used as ideas for the movie 'Cars'
Hi Everyone,

Well, tired we got up and headed to town where we saw the place where the writers of the movie 'Cars' got their ideas. Here is Wigwam Motel and look for 'Mater'.

We also saw tons of petrified rock from the Petrified Forest National Park, we went into the museum and actually left with a piece of petrified wood. As we drove by the park you could see tons of logs of Petried wood all along the interstate.

Next came Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pam bought John his birthday present in Old Town Albuquerque, she had to ship it home. We also drove over the very muddy Rio Grande river, we pulled over to go look at it closer but they had it all fenced off.

After spending a couple of hours looking around, Pam drove and Rylan navigated all the way to Amarillo, Texas. We went through a rain storm and when it stopped we got to see a really neat lightening show to the south, it really lit up the sky, it was so powerful. Then we saw rainbows, and then we saw two rainbows in the sky at the same time, they were

Landscape is pretty much all this, there are cactus that we had never seen before.

We drove about 30 miles and we saw lots of color and shapes of the hills. I do believe that it is a sandstone.

Traffic lights in Mexico are horizontal, we think it is because the poles they are on are short.
