When I say clean, I'm talking shiny clean. This is the sparkly pick-up/drop-off area for the hotel. Renee said it was like driving in a mall.
Our flight home was to leave at 8:30 so I arranged for the shuttle to pick us up at 6. We left our fancy room and headed down through the very quiet hotel to check out and wait outside for our ride. The shuttle was a little delayed, but the airport is only a 10-15 minute drive from the hotel so no big deal. We got our boarding passes, went through security, got breakfast at Starbucks and reached our gate only to learn the flight was delayed. The incoming plane was late due to weather delays out of Minneapolis. But it was ok as we weren't in a huge hurry to return to 8 degree Chicago!

On this trip, I got to cross one more state off my list, sing along with the songs of my teenage years and affirm what I already knew, that I am not a Vegas person. Sure, the fountain show was pretty and the sun was warm, but I don't like to gamble, drink or go clubbing. It was neat to see all the giant hotels and the lights at night, but it's not something I need to do again. I do want to point

You may have to pay for every little thing, but they sure are friendly!
out that everything was very clean, from the room to the floors at the malls to the street itself. All the people we encountered in the hotel lobbies, restaurants and casinos were friendly and at no point on our trip did we feel unsafe or uncomfortable. It could be different at 2 AM, but that's a side of Vegas that I really don't need to experience😊
