The lads on the mountain
The storm cleared up on their last morning! Well, its been a few weeks since we last updated the blog... since then, we had a visit from the boys (Kev, Brass, Mike and Flem)... They came a few days after we arrived back from San Fran. In the 5 days they were here we had so much fun and were blessed with a huge dump of powder, which was a god send for Kev and I, to soften our numerous falls!! We took them to the infamous Womack's ribs joint and to the casinos where they warmed up for their Vegas trip (The warm up paid off as we heard Brasso pocketed a neat sum in Vegas on the roulette!)... and we managed to get a fair few free drinks whilst we were gambling (or pretending to gamble)!! That very same night Brasso managed to leave his jacket at the bar and pick up somebody else's slightly smaller version, and Flem managed to lose his camera and passport!! All in an evenings work!! Flem has since been reunited with his passport (but not his camera) and Brass with his actual coat!
We were very sad to see them go... . and since then it has been the two
of us! We have been boarding most days, avoiding the weekends. We have a bit of a routine going on- we ride monday to friday, usually have a cleaning day saturdays and go to the cinema or out for a meal Sundays. Isn't it funny how you can so easily get into a routine even without a job!!!!
We have 2 weeks left until my mummy and daddy come! And then a few days after they leave, Si is joining us for a few days skiing and to Vegas, on route to South America where we will ditch the boards I continue with just the backpacks!
Last night we had the biggest snowfall of the season, so we have been out there today enjoying it and getting well and truly stuck in the stuff!!(see matt's pic)
We are off to kirkwood tomorrow, 1 hr on the bus but the awesome powder there will make the journey worth while.
Thats all for now folks! Keep in touch xxxxxx

had full details from claire and kev
have had loads of details about trips - everyone loved visiting you and said you were sad to see them leave. Has felt wierd as have had tennants move out of sims close so have been going round there to clear out and put in washing machine etc ready for the next lot. PLace still has a lovely feel to it. Rented it really easily as there had been loads of interest within the 1st day. Horses have got mud fever so they have now moved into the garage! I know - we are such losers! They think it is perfectly normal and walk themselves in and then lay down and go to sleep - loving them so much at mo! Took them to the forest for 1st time sun and they loved it. They only walked for 20 mins and then wanted to lay down. Athenan had her head on the floor and si almost had to drag her back as she was so tired. Have been asked to do a dressage test on Duke, my friends pony next month and am soooo excited. Missing you loads and love hearing all you are up to xxx
