Alrighty then! It is 3:36 am and we are preparing to head to the airport to begin our trek to Uganda. We are about busting at the seams with excitement at the moment that will most likely wain just a bit after the first 10 hours or so...lol But we are filled with the Spirit and ready to do God's work in Africa. We take all the prayers of our friends and family with us to share with the good people of Uganda. I will be updating the blog as often as possible so check back now and then! Once we are in Kampala and the village it may be a couple days between updates so be vigilent...I will be updating! All our love to the people in Baudette Lutheran Parish and all our friends and family! God's Peace!

My wife, Jodi and I are missionaries. Our mission project is called Jak's Legacy and it is in memory of my wife's eldest son from her previous marriage. His real name was Travis and he was killed in a snowmobile accident on Valentine's Day 2005. Jodi was an EMT in the city in which they lived and was the first responder to arrive at the scene, not knowing it was her son until she saw him.
