My wife, Jodi and I are missionaries. Our mission project is called Jak's Legacy and it is in memory of my wife's eldest son from her previous marriage. His real name was Travis and he was killed in a snowmobile accident on Valentine's Day 2005. Jodi was an EMT in the city in which they lived and was the first responder to arrive at the scene, not knowing it was her son until she saw him. The Holy Spirit moved her to write a book about Travis and she called it Jak's legacy.
