We went to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore in Michigan today. There was a beach that was supposedly behind the biggest dune. It ended up being about 2 miles behind it over several more dunes and lots of sand. It was a pretty beach there though, and we had it mostly all to ourselves, because everyone else had given up on walking to it. We saw lots of animal tracks on our way and it was really fun to run down the dunes. We stayed at Wilderness State Park for the night.
