We were able to spend a few days with my best friend from high school, Diane. She and her husband have a farm in Upper Marlboro, Maryland and it was awesome. We were able to check out the chickens, goats, turkeys and genies. We spent one day in Baltimore Harbor and Fort McHenry. The fort was very interesting and it was amazing what the soldiers went through to save their city. One day we went kayaking up and down the river behind their house. It was fun just to paddle along and be in the peace and quiet of the river. It was great catching up with an old friend. First of all I guess I should have been putting the location of where I am right now, not where I plan to be next Monday. Guess I'll go back and change the previous entries. I am posting a couple of photos of my "altered suitcase" that I just completed. This is an idea that I've had for quite a while...well, ever since I started traveling quite often and noticed that the entire traveling population of the world had gone out and purchased the exact same luggage that I owned. I thought, "I love to craft. I love to alter objects. Why don't I alter my suitcase?" So I did.
