Just testing this out. I am looking forward to the sights, sounds, smells? (I'm in the port city...like San Fran....AKA fish..), and people of South Korea. I'm also helping the professor with a research project, and my Honors project will involve creating a portfolio of the Korean culture and educational system, so maybe this will be a good way of tracking notes on that and keeping people back home posted on what goes on. 'In da South. haha. Adventures await. See ya in Busan (Pusan). ... read more

So, sleeping in the car last night was not a good idea. Apparently my body is used to only getting 2 hours of sleep and having to be wide awake, and that’s what it wanted to do. Oh my. I was up forever. Sore… hungry… cold… hot… too tired to read, to awake to sleep. Early came really quickly. As I was getting ready, I realized that I didn’t have anymore socks. I’m apparently missing quite a few. They’re not in my suitcase either, as I got the last pair this morning. Not sure what I will do tomorrow. The TD at this venue was amazing, as was the ME! So nice. Alot of you know the situation I was in when I was down there last time...being in recovery and all, well this time the only thing open was bars. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon, the only people I knew previously were Amybeth Maurer, Susan Smith, Rick Green, Bill Dugar, Ramon Albino, and Brittany Hicks. One of the first things we had to do was to determine who was to be part of the two teams. So, Susan, Rick, Amybeth and I sat down and started writing names on the two lists. First thing we had to do was to select a team leader and a tool person for each team. Rick and I decided we’d be the tool people, we just had ... read more

We were calm, for the most part quiet, in the “Evil Do-Gooders” van, anyway; the “Kewl-Aiders” were a different story. :-) We had twenty-one people and all the gear stuffed in two school vans. This didn’t leave much room for the people to settle in and get any rest. But, we managed to travel 949.3 miles together, to New Orleans, without ... read more
