Wowo… Today was quite the day. We got up and headed out of town pretty early, on our whopping three hour drive. First, though, we had to stop in another town for Starbucks since there are NO coffee shops in Rexburg. Once we were fueled up (thanks to Kyle for buying), we got going. We drove through Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve on the way, and it certainly looked like craters of the moon. It was kind of cool. For miles and miles just black rocks and scarce vegetation trying to grow unsuccessfully. I was also in awe of God’s creativity and how we can be in the middle of the mountains, then completely flat plains, and rivers and trees and crops and moon rocks, all within a few hours of driving.
