Part of Mauna Kea... it snowed a few nights ago, but a lot was melted by now
I am all kinds of tired at the moment so i'll try to shorten this as much as possible... i woke up at 3:00 this morning and called Bryan to see if he was still coming cuz the scott's said he loves to sleep and they really didnt think he was gonna come... so anyway i called him and he answered immediately and said he's in the neighborhood and will be here in 10 seconds. He was so awake and hyper i was like whaaaat... lol but anyway I'll write more later. And i know i keep saying that, but for real i will... i'll just write enough to be able to go into detail later. So now i'll put up a load of pictures and describe them as well as i can. Dave took almost all of these, by the way, that's why they're awesome, lol...

Jeanette, thank you for writing - i have been getting all of your comments, thank you so much for writing... i don't know why they're not showing up, but i can see them 😊 Aunt B and Uncle Tony.. it was soo good to hear from u both! Wish yall were here, you would absolutely looove it! Chels, i laughed so hard with your last comment... u dont even know if they ARE pictures... i've had so much drama with these blurry pictures... what am i, perfect?? lol... well hopefully these next ones will come out clear, because they are nothing less than spectacular... But again, a lens can't possibly do justice for everything we saw today - from ice and snow to snorkeling. Hope you enjoy them 😊

Where shall I start? WOW! You had like a 20 hour day and slept for 4. haha I can tell you look pretty wiped out in your pics, but you managed somehow to still look crazy, surfie, cool. Bryan however looks wide awake like he's the perfect representative for a Starbucks/Volt kiosk. He looks all of 12 years old. hehe The kids look sweet as always. The mountain looks fake. The sunrise looks unforgettable. The death cloud looks...fatal. The award for my favorite pic goes to...half of you in the lava hole. Hilarious. Can't wait till you post more details. Enjoy your last full week there!! :)

from Dad
Francesca: Your photos are great. You really do have a wide range of weather there...beach and snow all in the same area. By the way, who is Bryan? I will need date of baptism, service records,DNA sample, phone number, family history, report cards, P.O,'s name, street address, fingerprints and any other small details you can get. Tell Dave to get me the toll free number for Magnum, P.I. (he's a friend of mine and I need to ask a small favor). Look forward to seeing you on the 15th....of March, young lady. Love, Dad.

Wow Cesca, Great photos! Did you know there are places in the NC mountains where you can view a sunrise above the clouds? Roan Mtn.,on the Tenn. border, is one of them. Hawaii looks beautiful!!

Hey, The landscape gets more awesome with everytime you send more pics. Didn't know that they have such high mountains on Hawaii. Looks like here on the mountain,... but just flat. Is there any kind of landscape they dont have there? Enjoy your last week! BJ
