This was hard enough... :)
Again, i couldn't sleep in this morning, as tired as i was. But somehow i feel well-rested this morning. It's beautiful outside... i hope it stays that way for my last week. I remember what we've done recently but i could not tell you the exact order, so i'll just sketch out a few things... "One day" we went out on a home-school field trip for the kids to the vanilla factory... They get the vanilla from orchids... did i tell u this story already? I'm getting deja vu.. anyway that was fun, Melia and Bryan came too. I have a couple pictures from that too. I'll also put up the wet pants pictures that i promised from Laupahoehoe. I'll try and throw some others in there too from the past couple of weeks. Sorry if i put any repeats. Also we went to downtown Kona one day -- that was awesomeee, it was gorgeous and they had lots of cool shops. We went to Macy's that day too, a different one than the first one. We ate at Bubba Gump's and sat outside - what a view! One of the cruise liners pulled in and got out to shop near

Ok i'll write again later... i think we're going to a coffee plantation pretty soon. Hope everyone's doing well, talk to you again soon! ~Fran

I'm so thrilled that I'm the 1st to comment again. Woot. Although I haven't much to say today. I'm too cold here in this 30 degree weather to think of anything of value to say. So I'll just end with: Wet pantz are so in right now. I think some chick wore them to the Oscars last night. Byeeeee!

Bryan's art
Sunday Morning did a segment on the birds of Maui, and these are the very birds!!!! They looked exactly like that on TV! Bryan is an excellent artist--please tell him for us. Keep taking pics, we love 'em.

TO KEONA
How are your girls? Isn't the youngest still at Kamehameha? How did you enjoy the Taro pancakes with the lilokoi sauce? Delicious, yeah? Bye Pikeona! ~Princess of Syria

Girls
All the girls are doing fine. The youngest still has 6 yrs on her sentence, but Kamehameha's not such a bad place. Taro pancakes always make my mouth water, but lilokoi sauce is too much. I prefer mangoes. ~Duke of Waikiki
