Bookstudy is at his house. He's the greatest; always smiling, this guy
I've been hounded for not updating the past couple days. Truth be told, there hasn't been enough exciting activity to merit blocking up your e-mail lately; we went to Macy's the other day... it's not nearly as big as the ones we're used to, but they had a decent sized one. Every store common to the Carolina's has somewhat of a Hawaiian flavor to it here... everything in Wal-mart has some type of floral print on it, or some sort of Hawaiian greeting.. no winter clothes, no boots.. I've heard things are outrageously expensive here, but so far the majority seems pretty comparable to back home. Of course, Macy's was having an awesome presidents' day sale. Yesterday evening was service meeting. A sister brought a huge box of apple bananas and baking bananas to give away. I'm learning that's very customary. The apple bananas are sooo good; they're really little and extra sweet. I spoke to the couple who gave us the orange lemons last week - i told them i tried it, and yes indeed, it tasted like lemon. Then the husband insisted it was a lime... so here's the facts: It's orange. Came off a lemon tree. Shaped like

a lime. Nobody knows!! Maybe we'll make lem-or-ime ..juice.

Anywayyy i need to wrap it up cuz we're going to the famous Tako Taco and taking it up to the beach for a sunset -- it's finallyl clear!!! Beeeeautiful and about 77!! This morning was nasty, but that's the good thing about here... The rain dries up completely in 20 minutes, and every trace of bad weather rolls out in no time. I caaaan't leave =O I'll put up as many pictures as i have time for before we leave. I finally got a few pictures of where we meet for bookstudy. Miss you guys like whoaaa

what's an apple banana?
and a baking banana? Is it an apple-flavored banana or a banana flavored apple? How fortunate you are to be in 'paradise' eating homegrown tropical fruit. No wonder that brother is always smiling! Eat some for us---better yet, bring one-of-each home for all of us! Are most of the bookstudies in the afternoon?

The Koi pond looks pretty small, so how far did Tom actually have to chase him? lol I didn't know that Aloe plants grew more than...4 leaves! This one pictured here clearly has at least 544. Ok, can you come home now? There's no reason or rhyme for you to be in paradise while we are back here suffering in cold miserable rain! blaaahhh!
