Too gorgeous... Good Morning!
I am writing to you all after a very alarming morning. The sock puppets got very out of hand. I don't want to get into it too much, but let's just say trash talking terry is back and is p.i.s.s.e.d.! She hitchhiked all the way from that Wendy's back near Orlando, FL to Destin and if she was trash talking before....she is foul mouth francine now!!! She tracked down naked sally strutters torso doll and threw her outside, almost 17 stories off our balcony!! Stained sock puppet is hiding somewhere with tootin tootie, but I just know trouble is lurking. She is scootin all over the place, swearing and puffin away!!!! She is looking for liquor, but I explained to her there is no mini bar here and since I don't drink and Ape only does once and a while at restaurants, she is out of luck unless she wants crystal light! She gave me the big toe I think and took off. The stress, I tell you!
Anyway, on a sunnier note......I am feeling for all the people back in RI and MA! What is up with the weather forecast??? Didn't this happen last year too?

View yesterday afternoon from balcony. I remember it rained most of May and I cracked up. I had to listen to Jimmy Buffett everyday and turn our kitchen into a tropical getaway. I really went nuts. Everyone should buy Jimmy's newest CD, grill up some burgers, put on some sunglasses and close your eyes and daydream. All that rain just isn't fair! Ape and I feel awful (seriously) that we have been blessed with sun down here. I will have trash talking terry talk to the sun today and have him/her move north. This is just crazy!!!
Yesterday, after much work, April and I went to a cute little shanky shack on the beach called, FLOYD'S SHRIMP HOUSE. Mind you, neither of us like shrimp, strike that---Ape does once and a while, but this place was too cute to pass up! We were not disappointed when we went in. It looked like an old, beat-up, roadhouse. There was (of course) neon, cool tin signs, a very big tiki type bar, and lots of wood. We had a great view of the ocean. We should've sat outside by the water, but thought it might've been too hot, but with the breeze it would've been just
fine. The restaurant is attached to a very popular nightclub called, THE SWAMP. This place is just cool. They have a HUGE outside stage and bar with all sorts of Christmas lights hanging up. There is neon and beat up signs everywhere, not to mention the beach--which is just steps away. April ordered Cajun shrimp and sweet potato fries and I a Cajun spiced burger and sweet potato fries. Boy were they good! Nothing too fancy, but the flavor -- out of this world! I hadn't really eaten since Wednesday afternoon, so I was starved and the burger did just the job!
After we ate we walked outside past other restaurants and shops that lined Fort Walton Beach. There were some guys playing vollyball which was very cool to watch. We took lots of pictures and then headed back to the car.
We had to stop at Best Buy to get a new digital camera since ours broke. Actually April ended up surprising me buy getting me the camera as my birthday gift which is June 3rd!!! That was so sweet!!! The camera we had lasted almost 5 years, so we were due for an upgrade and the

The Entrance to Floyd's Shrimphouse! one we got is nice and small and takes videos.
We then headed back to the room, since it was close to 6pm and we had more work to do and wanted to see the season finale of The O.C. which came on at 7pm here!!
Before we knew it, we were dozing off and didn't feel like going for dinner or to a show. We stayed in for the night, had a sandwich, and went to bed.
I was up around 5:45am this morning....I love waking up early. It is so great to see the sunrise and hear the birds that only come out pre dawn. Here it is 11:20am and we are still working and deciding what to do for the day. We have a "care" package to send home with stuff that doesn't fit in the jeep and goodies for people....so we'll probably do that, maybe go to the outlet center or beach and AJ's beachfront grill for lunch. We have being dying to go to a movie at the new RAVE Cinema down here, so we may do that tonight. I just wish there was a new stupid horror movie out...lol! We'll probably

Floyd's see that movie, CRASH with Sandra Bullock or Sahara.
We just need to finish our work and then we'll be on our way!!!
Until then....
Happy Travels!
