"Laissez les bons temps rouler" ..... "Let the good times roll". And we are! First assignment: go to the Vero Beach Antique Show. The fearsome trio of Sam, Cory & myself flew along the roadways on Saturday to this annual show. Whoa.....Black Beauty (our new car is black)....as we screeched to a stop at an unexpected flea market just north of Vero Beach. We found a few goodies here while Lulu made friends with a colorful, friendly parrot. Now, she keeps asking for crackers. Squawk! Time to get back in Black Beauty and head onward to the Vero Beach Antique Show. It was good but not as good as last year (less dealers and we didn't find too much). We saw three different dealer friends from our field at Brimfield. That's always a welcome moment. It was a nice drive, a fun time and always full of laughs with our friend, Sam. Fortunately, Cory and I had visited the Salvation Army earlier in the week and made a very good find. LuLu loves them and may not let us sell them! They are two wonderful, solid wood carved man heads. Shiney but nice. A Brimfield delight....I know we will have to

fight off all the throngs of people who will be grabbing for them. I just know it! Any good suggestions for names? Next assignment: Super Bowl Party. Sam & Sandy, Walt & Diane came over to our RV to watch the game and the commercials and the half-time show. We shared laughs and snacks. Diane and I each won $25.00 from the Tropical Palms football pool. Zip-a-dee-do-da...What a wonderful day! Cory & Sam had a bet going: if the 49er's won, we would take Sam & Sandy to breakfast in Toledo, Ohio. However....that was not to be (someone has to win and someone has to loose) so now we will be having our breakfast in Hawaii.....Thank you, Ravens! Thank you, Sam! Cory & I have practiced our hula dancing and we are ready. I know the bet seems a bit unequal but it sounded real good to us. Diane & Walt liked it so much that they have decided to join us. The only problem: our mode of transportation. Sam wants to shoot us out of his clever cannons he is known for constructing. Good Grief....my grass skirt will probably blow up and off so now we aren't going. There's

Help, I can't get out - I'm fenced in!
no way we want the world to see that sight....it would burn out everyones' eyes. I'm sure it would be too hot in Hawaii, anyway. Next year we will surely dot the "i's" and cross the "t's" and be sure to include in the bet first class seating on the Concorde with Wayne Newton entertaining us the entire way. "Take us back to our little grass shack in Hawaii"........
