Lulu's Bait Shack - Orlando, FL Good Morning!
Yesterday was another quiet day in sunny Florida. April and I had lots and lots of work to do, so once again it was around 12pm (or was it 1pm) before we left our hotel to have some fun. It was time for lunch, so we decided to go to Pointe! Orlando. This shopping/entertainment complex is pretty cool. There are plenty of shops, a movie theatre, restaurants, nightclubs and a very neat attraction/museum called Wonder Works. Although the area is showing its age just a bit, it is a great stop for people in the area for an afternoon or night of fun. There was a cute restaurant called Lulu's Bait Shack I had always wanted to visit so April and I headed there. It did not disappoint. The outside of the restaurant was made to look like an old, sea shanty type shack from the bayou of New Orleans. It was so cute! They had lots of outdoor seats and an outdoor bar. There were lots of great/fun antiques (some rather odd and disturbing as well...lol) all over the place and they had the advantage of being located across from another adorable/fun restaurant -- Adobe Gilas! Lulu's Bait Shack - Orlando, FL can only imagine how crazy these places must be at night or during a special event. I had a cajun chicken sandwich and April had jambalaya and grilled chicken. It was her first time having jambalaya and she said it was very hot and tasty (she looooooves spicy foods). It had rice and sausage in it -- it almost looked like an Italian dish. She got a small bowl with her chicken.
During lunch, stained sock puppet was getting agitated and wanted out of the camera bag. He said he wanted to poke around a bit -- so we let him out. It didn't take too long for him to be up to no good. We found him behind the outside bar!!!! He put up a fight and refused to be put back in the bag so we had to promise to buy him snuggle the bear fabric softener for his next cleaning. He liked that idea and hopped in.
Our next attempt was to find a place called Spook Hill located roughly 45 minutes from Orlando. At Spook Hill your car will roll UP hill by itself. This is a major attraction for central Florida. It was

Lulu's Bait Shack - Orlando, FL even featured on the Travel Channel. It sounded like fun and we wanted to see if stained sock puppet would roll up the hill by himself as well! 😊
Well, we drove and drove and drove --- and we couldn't find Spook Hill! We thought we had driven too far and turned around, convinced we missed the street. If we had continued further north we would've found it, but we decided to head back as we were sure (at the time) we had missed it. I would LOVE to try and visit that again before we leave Sunday, but we shall see.
Back at the hotel we did more work, watched a movie and then got stained sock puppet ready for his --- DATE!!! Yes, stained sock puppet had a date. He found her online at sadsocks.com. We then headed out, around 9pm to Downtown Disney's West Side. We walked around, did some shopping and then escorted stained sock puppet to The House Of Blues for dinner. It was such gorgeous weather that many people were sitting outside listening to a local acoustic musician. It was so nice! We were seated instantly. April and I went our way

April browsing the menu at Lulu's! and stained sock puppet went his way. We saw his date, trash talking terry and to be honest she looked a little rough!! But, like any good parents, we gave him his space and freedom and went our separate ways.
After dinner we started searching for stained sock puppet and was shocked to find him in the front seat of a mini car outside of The House Of Blues! He had this mischievous grin on his face. He then jumped in the back. We ran toward him, and gasped when we saw him and trash talking terry canoodling in the back seat!!!!!! Trash talking terry looked at us and said, "You sons of @&$@*(&, get the !(&( out of here"! April and I looked at each other in shock!!!! Boy, she really was a trash talker!!!! She had a tatoo of her ex boyfrined on her head, Eddie Bauer, and was chewing gum while canoodleing. Stained sock puppet was in 7th heaven! You could see the look of love in his eyes. They then scooted over (sock puppets can't run) to a mini ship outside of The House Of Blue store. They proceeded to reinact the infamous scene from

Rather disturbing poster at Lulu's! LOL! Titanic --- "I'm The King Of The World" little stained sock puppet said. "I'm the queen of the mother @(&111 world"! trash talking terry repeated! What a scene they were making!!! We then grabbed them and told them we had to leave. They begged to have a picture taken in front of the Planet Hollywood restaurant so we gave in. They then scooted to the jeep and started canoodleing on the left view mirror. Love was definitley in the air!
On the ride home they sat on the dash board and listened to the country channel. Trash talking terry's favorite song came on. She said her ex boyfriend fishnet frank wrote this about her. I think the song was called, "I like my women a little on the trashy side".....the two gazed into each others eyes lovingly.
Back at the hotel they took off to the room before us and when we got back, well, lets just say......they both started out bald and finished with HEADS OF HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! April and I dropped our bags and screamed!!!! Trash talking terry said, "listen sweethearts, calm the @*&$@*^ down.....we're in love....get *&^@*^ use to it!" Stained sock puppet, looking shocked, grinned

Since it is only 9:55am I have no idea what today (Wednesday) has in store! Stained sock puppet and trash talking terri got their own room last night. I went to wake them up this morning, and well, the pictures below do all the talking!!!
Stay tuned for more adventures! ;-)
Til then!
