Hi,
We are now back in the real world, we have come out of the parrell world in one piece. Can you believe that it would be hard to get internet access in Miami and Disney World!
We enjoyed our time in Cancun, were we mainly just relaxed and soaked up the sun. We did spend our last day at a man made water park, we were spent the morning snorkling our way around the reefs and gorged ourself on the all you can eat buffett (definately overate that day) In the afternoon we made way to Tullum (another ruin) built right on the waters edge (a perfect spot). These ruins were of a much smaller scale than we were use to seeing and once again we were unable to climb them, none the less they were still impressive and not to repeat myself but an absoulte beatiful place to build your township.
We left Cancun and hit Miami, after arriving at the airport and making our way through customs twice (as we were given the wrong forms to fill out) we finally arrived to collect our bags, which we found off the coursel and on the floor,
mine (Cheryl's) the zipper had broken and my bag was spilled open for the whole airport to see! Hence to say I was not impressed! (but I guess that's what happens when you over pack your bag). We finally arrived at our Hotel in Miami and made our way down to the shops for some supplies. The next day we headed to Ventura Mall, were we shopped, shopped, shopped and shopped some more. A full day of shopping can be very tiring even for the best of them, so it was quite night in with dinner at the Hotel. They have a really cool resturant which has the old cars in it, cut in half for you sit in (bit like the one you see in Pulp Ficton). At times we did feel like we had been dropped in the middle of a retirement village!!!
The following day was spent doing a bus tour of the city, everglades and a boat tour of Miami. First we headed to the Everglades, were we jumped into the boat and seen some Gators & all kinds of wild life then it was time to hit the peddle and burn some rubber, through
the everglades. We really enjoyed it, so much so that we even held a Gator, (yes Leanne included) and then we even sampled some (the taste - like chicken with the texture of fish), it wasn't bad actually. We then had a tour of the city, were we seen lots of lovely art deco hotels, and even some famous ones (Bird Cage, Rydel High - just to name a few) then we did a boat tour of the city and seen the rich and famous islands and seen the houses of Gloria Estavan, Sylvesta Stalon and many more. Once we had finished we rushed back to the hotel and ordered pizza and had an Amazing Race final party (party for two).
The next day we went and picked up our car and checked out of the Hotel and visited a few spots in Miami (Dash, Miami Ink and a sports store) then we hit the road and headed to Disney World!
Once we arrived a Disney World we didn't come out until it was time to leave. We have a great time there, retreaving back to our child hood. One of the most exciting things was meeting Mickey
and Mini mouse - that was definately a highlight. As like everything, there just wasn't enough time at Disney World to be able to do everything. We did manage to get to all four parks, some with very limited time. But we made the most of the time we did have there.
We were up early every day and not getting to bed before 12am at the earliest. We visted Magic Kindom, Hollywood Studio's, Animal Kindgom and Epcot.
Each park is magical. We seen some amazing shows (lion king, finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast) seen a lot of parades and did a lot of rides. Leanne even did some twice. I think we seen just about every character and had our photo taken with all of them (we are the big kids). mmmm Tigger!!
We went to Nasa for a day (but again it's a two day thing). But we got to see the take off spots for the Space Shuttles, the building were they build the space shuttles, we seen one that they are working on at present, as they were transporting it from one building to antoher (that too was very exciting) -
who would have thought that space could be so interesting?!. We did a simulated take off in a space shuttle, that was pretty cool, although i'm sure what we felt was only one tenth of what an Astronaut feels.
That brings us to our last day and our departing from each other. Leanne headed to the Cruise Ship and I headed to LA for a quick stop over before heading home.
Houston we have a problem!

Hi Leanchez, Thanks for your great stories and I'm glad you've both had a great time in the sunny south. There's obviously so much to see and do in so little time, but you've done a great job in getting through so much. I'm glad you've been continuing to enjoy the experience. Thanks for also including some photo's as they really add to the story and I look forward to having a gander at some of your Mexican ones when you guys make it back home. Also thanks for going to the trouble of setting something like this up for your friends to see how your going. It's been great to hear from you over this time and I've always found the reports most entertaining. I look forward to hearing about the stuff that you couldn't include as well when you get back. Hope you both enjoy what's left of your expedition and that you get back safe and sound next week without to many drama's. Hard to believe Christmas is almost upon us, where's the year gone. Kind Regards Michael
