Yippeeee....These past two days have been "Happy Days" for celebration. Today, our family from Scio, N.Y. arrived. We met Lory, Jay, Alan, Ryan & Sara at the Sanford Airport. Absolutely terrific to see and be with them again. Last time we were together was on Lory's birthday: December 28th. Lory has been watching over our house in our absence as well as taking care of our mail, etc. She's such a wonderful daughter. They left mounds of snow behind to arrive to see bright, blue skies in Florida. Today was chilly for the Sunshine State - in the 60's but it will warm up as the week continues. It better....they have had enough cold weather this year. They checked into our timeshare, Cypress Harbour, near Sea World. Just like coming home...first priority was to go out for dinner since they had only a few Bugle chips to eat all day. What better way to fill them up but to go to a buffet. It did the job...we all left stuffed to the brim (and beyond for some of us). Now they can settle in and start enjoying themselves. Tomorrow, more of our family will arrive. Kim, Jim, Haley, Travis and a

Al, Ryan....and Lulu friend of Travis will join all of us. Our days of celebration only continues. It just keeps getting better & better. We can hardly wait for everyone to be together again. The rest of our family can't join us this year but fortunately, another year will always follow.
Yesterday was another celebratory day. Cory's roommate from college, Mike Degaro, came for a visit. Mike and his charming wife, MJ, live here in Florida. Many, many years had passed before Cory tracked Mike down. Since then, they have remained in contact. Mike & Cory share so many stories and laughs from their escapades together at the University of Buffalo. I don't think Buffalo was left quite the same after this dynamic duo passed through it.
Tuesday morning routine at Tropical Palms consists of coffee hour at 9:00 AM. Only two more of these pleasurable gatherings are left. There is a "Northern" beckoning calling us all home. The exodus of "long termer's" is progressing rapidly now. This morning, there were only 2 tables of friends compared to at least 7-9 tables when the masses are here. By next week, there will be one lone table of faithful friends. It's sad

Sara & Lulu in Cypress Harbour Lobby to realize that all this will soon be coming to an end until next winter. "
