A terrific place!
Top O' the Mornin to Ya! St.Patrick's Day was a very festive day .... so much so I didn't get this blog posted until now. Read below for a clear and explicit explanation. St. Patrick's Day is an enchanted time, a day to begin transforming winter's dreams into summers magic. I know we found some magic ...... we were transformed!

Our day began with a wonderful, return trip to Cherry Pocket with Sam & Sandy. It just doesn't get any better: good food & great friends. The staff is becoming part of our family now as you can see in the one photo. We are really going to miss these excursions to the "Pocket" when we have to head home from this fantasyland we have become accustomed to. Because we follow the Senior Citizen time clock, we were back home by 5:30 PM. We sat around in the RV and checked the weather forecast on our phones. Realizing that was probably not the most exciting way to spend the holiday, we trudged back out, across the highway to Branigans Irish Grill & Pub. There, the magic began...C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-I-O-N Time! "Everyones' eyes were shining"...Irish or not. Sam said he knew how

to play the spoons....instead, he & Sandy chose to play WITH the spoons. Cory made a big hit with the owner, Paddy - formerly from Buffalo. Small world: 20 men from Alstom in Windsor, Conn. were at this festive gathering. When they spotted Cory's Alstom green T-shirt: the magic happened again. The luck of the Irish was with us. Cory bought a few raffle tickets and he won! Mr. Lucky rides again....He found his gold pot at the end of the rainbow. Actually, he won a souvenir metal bucket (kind of like a pot) with a bottle of Kinky (name brand) liqueur, 2 Kinky bracelets and a Get Kinky tank top. The bucket and wine work for us but only Sandy could wear the shirt. Ooooo - to be small and petite. The highlight of the night was yet to come. An entourage that looked like real Leprechauns appeared. They were really a group of little midgets who performed by wrestling. They didn't wrestle tonight....only posed, danced and horsed around. That was fine with us. At first, it seemed a little uncomfortable but when they moved in on Lulu, I almost wrestled them to the ground myself. Lulu got more

attention then she desired. They weren't like the Lucky Charms leprechauns, that's for sure. Google says: "You may end up being the luckiest person alive if you ever manage to catch a Leprechaun but there again it could bring more than enough trouble for what its worth". These "leprechauns" were too easy to catch and Lulu didn't think she was that lucky being the brunt of their affections....they seemed to be turning out to be more trouble than they were worth. Our celebratory evening ended with a Top O' the Night to Ya! We went home to check the weather forecast, again.

May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks.

May your heart be as light as a song.

May each day bring you bright happy hours,

That stay with you all year long.
