The weather here has been great! Beside a bit of crazy wind the first few days, it has been pretty sunny! I left Oregon, and it was still cold! I heard it actually snow the other day (mountains only probably) But i have been enjoying this Colorado weather! After a graduation ceremony at my nephews preschool, we had lunch and went for a hike! It was supposed to be in the 90s today, not sure if it made it, but it was definitely close! My sister Tanya, her son, Her friend Kelly and her 2 kids, and I all went for a hike today! After watching sunrise yesterday morning on the dock in front of Tina's Backpacker Hostel, I packed and wandered off to breakfast. I saw my friends off on their journey back to Toronto and headed to the Vega's to hang in a hammock with my remaining time. They made lunch, Maria surprised me with coconut candy, her favorite and she gave me a bag for traveling. I looked once more at the amazing changing colors of the Caribbean between the reef and the island and left for the airport. Wearing shorts and a tank top, I wasn't ready to let go of the warmth just yet. A ten minute flight got me to the international airport in Belize City. It was an adventure getting home. Headed out from Kearney around 9:30 and headed west. Not a bad drive at all. I've never seen Colorado this green before. The grass, trees, and everything else is green. I arrived in Longmont around 12:30 Mountain time. It was great seeing Theresa and Keith. Found out that Big Head Todd and the Monsters was playing a show at Redrocks, and Theresa and I decided to go. I really regret not bringing my camera to the show. Redrocks has to be the coolest place to see a concert. Surrounded by mountains with the big city lights behind the stage and the mountain air blowing on your face, the near full moon off to the right, and a sound that can't be duplicated anywhere.
