It's hard to believe it's been 8 months since we started our adventure here in Colorado. Time has just flown by but yet there is so much more we want to explore here in Colorado. The first several months we were flying back and forth to Minnesota about every month. After a few months of having the kids living in the house and seeing how they maintained it (or lack thereof), we decided it was time to prepare to say good-bye to the place we raised our children and called home for the past 20 years. Can be summed up by a few choice words including but not fully limited to the following: dread, scared as hell, nervous, excited, anxious, anxious-excited, scared (oh wait, I already said that one), um....happy, sad, confused. A LOT of different emotions - but at this point mostly fear and scared feelings. I have spend 3-4 years wanting to do this though - and if I didn't take this opportunity now - where I put in the work to get 2 degrees (one a Master's of Education in Career counseling) and then also a CELTA certification....I didn't put all that work in for nothing There is no better time in my life to do this.
