Beautiful breakfast at Lou Lou’s on the pier. Jesse attempted the gigantic griddle cake. The omelettes were yummy and the cinnamon French toast perfect. We confirmed that there is a bridge out along the Big Sur but decided to drive down as far as we can then loop back.
Point Lobos State Reserve had tracks around the coastline and we spotted seals and oodles of otters.
Further along we checked out Bixby Bridge then turned around.
Along our alternate route, the Appalachian foothills enabled a stop at Hahn winery for some wine tasting and a platter of local cheeses and other delicious things.
Tonight we stay at Lemon Tree Inn in Santa Barbara, really lovely place and people, where I had yummy pasta and Kellie got pizza while others wandered down to Jack in the Box for burgers.
