It has been an awesome few days here in San Francisco! I am in love with this city!

We arrived around 8pm Friday night after 8 hours on the bus. Instantly in love. Such a cruisy vibe to this city. We caught a cab to our hostel. First hostel experience haha, so far so good. We are staying in a convenient area between Fishermans Wharf and Union Square. Saturday we rose early and beelined it to Fishermans Wharf. So cool!! We hunted around for a good deal until we found a hop on hop off 72hr package including Alcatraz. Then jumped on the bus to the Golden Gate Bridge so we could get off and walk it. We were blessed with a beautiful crystal clear day to see all of SF and the bay. By afternoon the fog had hidden everything. We got back on the bus on the other side and rode through Sausalito and then back to SF to union square. We hunted for some dinner and got a feed at an awesome 50's diner, then back to the hostel to get ready and find somewhere to have a few beers 😊 Blue Moon with an orange is a delicious beverage.

Sunday we had a chill day. We caught the bus over the bridge again and got off at Sausalito. We meandered around the lovely rich area, got a coffee, relaxed sone more 😊 after we went back to the wharf and got on the bus again for a night tour of downtown and bay bridge.

Today was awesome. We went on the ferry over to Alcatraz and had a full audio tour of the prison. Wow, so much history. So awesome.

There's lots of talent in this city. we've seen some really talented buskers and street artists. One girl we watched for a while and she was phenomenal. We got a fright from a humorous homeless man hiding behind a piece of bush shrub he was holding. He rattled it and went "rarrrhhhh!" as we walked past, funniest thing we saw all day lol we crapped ourselves. I love love love the architecture of this city. The Victorian buildings are just amazing. Prettiness everywhere! I'm bummed we didn't get to go check out Mrs Doubtfires house on Steiner street, but if I ever come back to the US I'll definitely be coming back here. Tomorrow we get on a bus and head up to Vancouver 😊
