Today was our last and third day at Disneyland, so we all felt a bit upset that it was our last day and as Walt Disney once said “it is the happiest place on earth”. So much to see and do you just don’t want the day to end. We got up early and got there as they were opening. We didn’t make the early bird entry which was a shame as the alarm didn’t go off.
We started out at Tomorrowland at the Buzz light year ride were you had to shoot at objects and help out buzz, which was cool. Then we moved on to the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, where you hopped into a submarine and went on a ride to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. We helped Nemo’s dad find Nemo and we went along the E.A.C, dudes and saw Crush, Dory and Bruce. It’s quite a neat ride to do, the girls loved it.
We hadn’t eaten yet so we found a place and had some bacon, eggs, etc so that kept us going for a while.
We headed towards Fantasyland were we went on the Peter Pan Flight ride. It was cool, you were in a
ship flying over London and then over Neverland and then helping peter pan and his friends get away from Captain Hook. Next we went over to Mr Toad’s wild ride where we drove over through the streets and a road around London both the girls enjoyed driving the car and thought the ride was cool.
Abby and I both decided that we should go back to the hotel as it was one of the hottest days since our trip began. The news said it was 38*C so we thought the girls could cool off in the pool, so we headed back to the hotel for a few hours.
After some rest we headed back to Disney land and walked to the train and rode it around to “Its A Small World”, where we went through again and filmed it and took some better shots as last time they didn’t come out very well. As soon as we hopped of the boat we sat down and watched the Street Party Celebration show, where all the stars performed and sang and danced on floats through the streets. It was fun to watch and we got some good pictures as well.
For dinner
we headed to New Orleans Square. We ate at the French Market Restaurant and had a lovely meal of chicken, seafood and salad. The girls didn’t eat much as they were pretty tired by that stage, but we said that the fireworks were not too far away so they wanted to see that. After dinner we went to Main Street and found a spot along with 10,000 other people and watched Disney’s Nightime Fireworks Spectacular where the show was excellent. We were very impressed about the fireworks and the lighting display, were worth staying for it was just awesome.
After the fireworks we headed out towards the exits and then Danika and Zavanna spotted Goofy. They wanted a picture so Abby went in and got some more things for our Mickey Mouse hats and we waited in line for a photo and Danni wanted to get an autograph as well. After that we walked into the Disney Gallery were the first plans of Disney land are kept and different rides and old artefacts are kept from when Walt Disney first come up with the idea it was really cool to walk around and just see how it all began
55 years ago and how much its changed till now.
After that we hopped back onto the tram to get back to the carpark and headed for home it had been a long day but well worth it and we just want to say that for a theme park to be open from 8am till 12pm every day of the year and for how well the place looks and how nice the staff are its a credit to Disneyland as it is the happiest place on earth.
