I decided to go up to see my sister in Fort Bragg and I got the brillant idea from someone to try another way. The first one I started by going up I-5 to Williams and then crossing over on Highway 20 over Clear Lake and through Willits. From there its about 26 miles of all twistie roads to Fort Bragg. I asked the watress how old this cafe was. She said it was built in 1925, 4 years before the great depression and its still here! OH yea, great food. Gotta get back one more time before the weather turns crappy.

I have only been up there one time, but you were right near where my mother lived for a few years in Ft Bragg. I loved the trip up to Mendocino from Cloverdale on that great route! One of the best roads I ever drove on, it goes from windy canyons, to farmland, to to vineyards and eventually through the great forest along the river! Gotta try that on a bike some day.
