Update 1 I haven't left for Berlin. I leave in just over four weeks. here's what's been happening so far.... I'm going to Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen (http://www.hfwu.de) from March 14th to July 29th. If you are American, you've noticed that semesters in the US just before Christmas. That leaves me three months of free time to plan something. In the last frantic and well planned for three months, I've been trying to find an internship in Germany. The following has happened: Plan A - I get accepted by a company i applied to. This will not work i've applied to over 20 firms and i've been rejected by 15. i don't speak german and i want to work around the holidays. :-( this took forever and i had most of my german friends ... read more

We arrived home on Tuesday, October 19th after 121 days, 28 states, and 10,200 miles on the road. It has been the most amazing trip that we have taken so far in our life together and I am glad that I have kept this blog so that I can look back on all the places we have been and remember it all. While we missed our family and friends terribly this was a trip of a lifetime and I don't think we would change a thing. We met many interesting people and visited some of the most exciting and wonderful places that this great country has to offer.
