Mom and girls at the bar!
Well tomorrow we leave...WAH!!! 😞

We woke and had a relaxing coffee and made plans for the day. Lara and I did some sightseeing and shopping and stopped for breakfast on the beach. This business of having a margarita before noon is pretty awesome but will have to be curtailed upon returning home (I'll slowly wean myself off the morning booze...in about 2 weeks!!) ... WAH again! 😞

After packing and laundry we decided the day was still young and we deserved drinks and lunch. We toured around and had lunch on the beach which was quite tasty, and made plans to finish up shopping for the girls' friends at home. Afterwards we stopped to listen to this fabulous band called "Sumaj Punchay". This is the woman that plays the recorder, pan flute, bongo drum, you name it, who is originally from Denver and came to Playa eleven years ago. She heard this band playing and fell in love with the music, and decided she wanted to learn to play all these instruments. She is now married to one of the band members and spreads this great music to all of us lucky folks. Mom absolutely loved this experience.

Mom and daughter's drinks side by side
We bought their CD and I'm sure at one of our summer "shindigs" we'll be playing it for you.

After we headed for our swim and hot tub. Marth and I decided a drink on the town was in order and went out to a wine bar and "whined" (or wined) about having to go home.

I think Al is ready to have his gals back in the house. Not much else to report, but we were wondering if you folks at home can put in a sunshine order of about, er... 30 degrees C upon our landing??? Pray all goes well on our flight and everybody is up to par.

Salsa!!

Looks like you enjoyed your last day. Lara-you look a lot better-hope you felt better too. Weather looks like it improved for you before you had to leave. Hope the weather was good at home when you got there and that your flight home went well. Pat
