We had no idea either, but Quebec City has turned out to be one of the nicest cities in North America we have ever visited. Glad you enjoyed the blog.

Love the French!
We also had a very positive experience with the French both in Quebec, Paris and Provence. They were always helpful whenever we needed assistance. Quebec is a charming city that everyone should explore. Congrats on making fond memories!

Concorde Hotel
You two have covered so much of Quebec City! I might have to make notes and go back there again and see the things I missed! When I was there a few years ago, my friend and I stayed at the Concorde Hotel. We stayed in a room on a very high floor looking out towards the Frontenac Hotel. A great place to stay. I would like to know if you had any Poutine while in Quebec? It originated in Quebec. I know you can only so much, so maybe you couldn’t fit it in. Ha ha

Poutine!
Yes we did have Poutine and it was delicious. We didn’t realize it originated in Quebec. I think I posted a picture of it the first day or two we were there.
