Temp: 59°F - 15°C (big difference to Vegas!)

Hello from Canada!!
Soooo, it was an interesting start to our Canada visit. Firstly the taxi drivers here, no good! Secondly, we arrived at our Hostel last night at about 11:30pm only be told "oh really, i don't have a booking for you". Thankfully, id printed out the email so the guy gave us someone elses room who hadn't yet arrived and said he'd sort that out when it came to it. Arghhhhh. Anyone coming to Vancouver, DON'T STAY HERE!!! Look, ive done hostel before and i didn't expect much but we don't even have a mirror in our room! though, for some unknown reason, we have a fridge! huh?
So, we slept and that was all fine, we woke up late-ish after feeling sick for hours and not being able to sleep. Then, we found out there was only 1 shower for each gender on each level! WTF? arghhhhh! we even contemplated finding something else before we went, oh well, we'll suck it up, its only 2 more nights.
We were ready just before 11am and Sophie came to meet us, we then met her friend Jess to which both of them drove us around to check out some of the Vancouver sites.
We went up to the Capilano Suspension Bridge . This was pretty, very rainforesty with a big suspension bridge and tree top climbing thing (if anyone knows the Nintendo game Donkey Kong, u'll know what I'm talking about).
After this we made our way up to Grouse Mountain but decided not to go on the Chair Lift / Gondola things as its was very wet and kinda cloudy so there wouldnt be much to see. So we headed out to Stanley Park briefly to check out the Totems then headed into Gastown to have lunch at The Old Spaghetti factory. Very good food for next to nothing!
Now here I am at Sophie's putting up all my blogs so you fine people know I'm still alive. By the way people, I'm having trouble putting up photos so I'm sorry if you all have to just read these but it's the best i can do at the moment.
Missing you all! Ill update this next time i get some free internet. Sorry if it takes a few days!
xoxo

Wow, that's some drop in temperature! Sorry that the hostel isn't too great. Although coming from the Bellagio on your first night, I doubt anything would be very nice! lol Fear not though, like you say, only a couple of nights. x
