On Saturday Jeremy and Crystal had people over as they had managed to get rid of their kids, which is good. Their oldest daughter Jade who is 4 doesn’t like me for some reason and is constantly giving me grief 😞. Whether it is a pinch, punch or kick while no one is looking or giving me the evils. I don’t know why I was never anything but nice…lol. Anyway, the party was really cool we set up Jeremy’s sound system and had my hard drive hooked up and blasted my music. I got to meet a bunch of Justin and Jeremy’s friends I hadn’t met before and I’m yet to come across someone who I don’t like 😄.
Justin and I were planning to head to Vancouver city the next day but didn’t end up going because 1. Justin had no money and 2. Justin was hung-over and 3. I’ll be back in a couple of years anyway to work on a ski resort so I’ll see it then 😊. Instead we just relaxed around the house and then towards the end of the day we came up with the idea of going 4x4ing, only they don’t have a 4x4.
Shotgun shells!!
People go in to the hills as the police don't go there and just shoot stuff with shotguns. Danielle (Crystal’s friend who is at their house quite a bit) offered us her truck so we jumped on the offer and went out. Justin was driving and he had never driven off road before so it was a little slow but still fun out ‘n’ about seeing the forest. I said that Jeremy should have a turn at driving so they swapped over, as soon as his seat belt was clipped in he hit the gas and we flew down the road! Jeremy obviously had experience or he was overly confident gunning it down the dirt road. Before too long we had to head home as it was getting dark and Danielle needed her truck back, all up we got about 2 hours off-road. We headed back to the house and played video games and had “drinks” as per usual, and I never get sick of it 😄.
It was sad as Justin dropped me off as I knew that I wouldn’t see him at least for a couple of years, I gave him a hug and then I jumped on the ferry. The ferry trip was beautiful the weather was beautiful and clear unlike my trip to the
island, I snapped a bunch of photos that looked pretty good. When I got off the ferry I had to catch a bus and make my way to Vancouver city to then catch a train to the airport, it took me a while to find it but I got there in the end 😊.
I had a flight from Vancouver to LA and then my flight from LA to Brisbane. It was night when we were coming in to LA and at first sight I thought the lights looked like Perth and then I realised that the lights just kept going and going and going, it was beautiful even though it’s man made and super polluted but hey, there were twinkling lights as far as I could see.
Well, I’m off to get on my flight to Brisbane…
