Crusing in Canmore

Hey everyone, Dan here attemping to write up our lastest journal, Russ left early this morning for his first day as a sparky for a company in Banff and i dont start at Fas Gas (my stunning carrer at a local servo) till 3pm. It has been a while since our last blog mostly due to laziness but also computer trouble with our photos, so now no excuses...
So we moved to Canmore about two months ago into a basement suite of a very nice mountain style house in a rather wealthy area, our rent is increadibly cheap but we do share a room which basically has a kitchen along one side, and us one the other. We are enjoying it but makes life difficult if company is staying..
Otherwise we are kinda settled into life in Canmore, which we have found to be alot more chilled out and have more of a local atmosphere than Banff, we actually get to meet Canadians here!! I have been working at Fas Gas for about a month which I am really enjoying as I get to meet alot of Canadians, of which most think Im Australian even after ive told them otherwise. Russ has been working for Postive People the temping agency off an on but Im sure hes stoaked to find some solid work. We have quite a large crowd of friends here now with Australians, English, Scotish, Kiwis and of course Canadians. We have had some great times in the last few weeks including many epic snow days, St Paddys day, The BBQ which resulted in a broken foot and alot of memory loss, calling 911, jam nights at the pubs, banished from Hoolies, bikes stolen, bar stools aquired and mountains conquered! I guess a picture tells a thousand words so here they are...
PS: Me old mate Russ an I will be going our seperate ways in three weeks as Im off to Costa Rica and Guatamala for approximatly 9 weeks, Russ will hopefully get down from Canada to visit me for a couple of weeks for surf, sun and adventure! We did a hike to find some caves but kinda took the wrong route, the views were amazing thou!

The trip down was hard as we lost the track, Paul did however find some sheep jaw bones he plans on making a necklace with. But the attack of the ticks in the van was not enjoyable

Great pictures
I just found your blog tonight and was so entralled I read all of your entries in one sitting. What an amazing time you're having!! AND awesome pictures!! Best of luck in Costa Rica.
