Bumming it in Banff

This blog is almost a month out of date now but I thought we still better put it in there. Basically after we said our goodbyes to Takako and Taeko, we drove up to Lake Louise for some snowboarding, and picked up a couple of Hitch-hikers on the way. A couple of Kiwi boys just like us, and after a good day with them up the hill, we went back to their place for a beer, and ended staying for a week. They had jobs but weren't starting for another couple of weeks so it was pretty much Saturday night, every night the whole time we were there. So after a crazy week of craziness with crazy Joel and crazy Bugz we moved out to crazy Canmore, but we'll tell you all about that in the next episode...

this town is freakin gorgeous, it's the Queenstown of Canada with beautiful mountains and lakes all around, the best nightlife, and the highest STD rate in the world!!!! Doh.

other overstayers
that guy with the mongrel beard is Simon, he's a Skier from NZ who's travelling around with a photographer shooting photos for NZ Skier and some Norway mag. They ended up crashing at Joel and Bugz's for a few days too so it was a pretty cozy lounge floor for a while

we were bored one night so went for a drive around Banff looking for stuff to do and ended up building this huge kicker in a carpark somewhere and towing the boys onto it. pretty cool night
