A relaxing start then off to Kasudasi, a large Med sea port for Turkey & apparently very touristy – so we shall see. Pleasant trip here with nothing to report...except the Dyson took a short cut again (the Dyson master hasn't yet got it under control) & I had to thread the needle again through some back streets with cars dumped at all angles. Then we couldn't find the site but by chance Cathy spotted it where we didn't expect it – right opposite the marina! It's a motel cum little villas cum canp site & smashing! It has a pool, a restaurant on the corner & is a 10 minute walk to the centre of town plus has service washes, result! A nice chap runs it who invited us to his 4 year old son's party that night! We declined as it didn't start until 9.30pm when he finished work...

Settled in then went for a walk along the sea front – council beaches, cafes, bars but not overtly touristy at all. We had a huge ice cream each, our fitst of our trip & then stumbled into the bazaar – another big mistake. Now out of sterling due to silken purchases...hey ho. We got a good deal (we think!) because it was quiet & no ship had docked for a few days.

Out to eat at the corner cafe which was really good value & a bottle of wine was cheaper than at Kippa (ie Tesco) then to bed...only to be woken by a professional female singer on the beach front – we'd seen the stage being set up earlier – oh well, she was better than a random drummer...just.
