Desert hike

Well another early start after a lovely night sleeping under the stars.
After yet another lovely breakfast set off for 10 mile hike around Wadi Rum.
Absolutely amazing did not expect this at all, some of the views and the different coloured sand plus the totally different rock formations, some of the looked like they had been hand calved. It was hard going at times but well worth it the sights were totally mind blowing.
After hike we chilled in the camp until climbing the nearby rocks to watch the sunset.
Evening meal was cooked in a container under the sand, never heard of this in my life but tasted delicious.
Sat round camp fire again all chatting, what a lovely interesting group I’m with, all have their own travel tales to tell.
