In the Air
Flyin to Budapest in our G5 If we had a dollar for every time someone asks us if we are sisters, twins, or some part of a set of triplets...our entire trip would be paid for! We should have known that we were asking for it when our waitor at Chili's at the JFK Airport said "I knew you girls were from Cali, you sisters?" when he asked for our IDs after ordering a Bloody Mary and a glass of Chardoney.
Since this is our last day in Hungary, we figured we would give you a recap of what the last five days in Varoslod and Lake Baloton were like. The first few days in Varoslod we spent time adjusting to life a whole 9hrs ahead of California and 6hrs ahead of the folk in Indiana. Accompanied by Grandma Kauker and Cousins Marta, Misi, Young Misi, and Peti, we were shown a "yo" (good) time. Kendall got the chance to revisit her family history and see the school, church, and town that her grandfather grew up in prior to WW2. At Lake Baloton we celebrated young Misi's 30th birthday, learning some key Hungarian phrases. Because we only attempt at speaking Hungarian, and there is no way
we could possibly spell these words correctly, we will share them when we get home (that is if we remember).
