A really bad angle I know
For the start of the new cycle in the Mayan Calendar, 21st December 2012, myself and a friend spent time at Avebury and the days before and after driving around the U.K, visiting some of the megalithic sites.

Unfortunately the weather was against us as there was heavy rain and flooding but it was a kind of recon mission anyway, for a further exploration in the summer and a possible film we might be making, about the number of sites in there are in the U.K and how so many sites line up along ley lines.

We visited the Uffington Horse, Malvern Hills (pyramid shaped hills near Worchester), the Avebury complex (West Kennet Long Barrow, Silbury Hill etc), Glastonbury Tor, Burrowbridge Mump, The Hurlers stone circles and the Old Sarum in Salisbury.

A great trip and one I wish to repeat and expand on in the summer.
