Thursday 20 July 2023, Pembrokeshire Coastal Path - Angle to Pembroke day 6 of our walk.

Alltrails app: 5 hours 12 minutes walking. 12 miles, 1004 feet elevation gain

We started walking 0.68 miles before joining the navigation track leaving Angle. At 0930 started. Finished about 1500

Garmin forerunner 25: 5 hours 12 minutes walking. 11.96 miles. 1046 feet elevation gain.

After breakfast at the Coach House Hotel we were able to walk across main street to the co-op store for lunch items

At 0900 Michael was here to shuttle us back to Angle for our start today. He originally left us at West Angle but we had passed this yesterday so he dropped us off on the east side of Angle where we found the trail marker to start our hike.

This stage is mostly about the Valero and Texaco refineries and the local power plant. The screenshot may give a feel for our route around the bays, peninsulas and inlets.

We passed, potato, wheat, corn and barley fields. The highlight was Jo driving a large herd of Holsteins from our path so we could continue on the track. The negative was on the last stretches of pavement it became obvious that Chuck's Asolos hiking shoes were falling apart.

Tomorrow our day off will be shoe shopping in Tenby.

Had a great dinner at the hotel with onion rings that were very special.
