We started our drive northward on mainland Shetland, did some shopping in the small settlement of Brae and crossed via a small bridge to the island of Muckle Roe. There we did a superb walk along red granite cliffs on the west coast.

A small marina right by the bridge gave us a pleasant place for our night stop
