So, after waving our cottage goodbye, we headed off on the last leg of our great Scottish roadtrip - up to Inverness to see Loch Ness and hopefully the monster...well...we hoped. The morning that we left the cottage we got to see our first smattering of snow. Aaron had bought some fake stuff on Christmas eve, and Bridie wandering aimlessly around the garden realised that the white flakes on the ground weren't fake! It was real snow, and it made our day. What do u call this!? Ice in my whisky, r u mad! Working in the local pub in Conon Bridge (The Duck) u quickly learn how the locals take their whisky. I worked a couple of shifts a week in the duck as well as working full time in oddbins a wine a whisky shop (bottleo) in Inverness. We had some expensive shit too, £300 bottles of whisky, £50 bottles of wine & £100 bottles of champers. Even though I’ve been working heaps I’ve been lucky to do heaps of other stuff too.
