Jennifer does not want to be a cow

At monday 18th of July the nightporter made an early simple breakfast . After that I went to Heuston station for the irishrailtour to the west of Ireland.First by train to Galway.

Met in the train Jennifer, a korean american lady with her kind of boyfriend Bob.
Jennifer works for a lobby firm and earned the trip to Ireland as bonus, She says her work is helping politicians and companies. Bob says her work is selling favors. Bob is chef and coooks probably for the same people as she is working for..

They still both had the problem of jetlag and Jennifer seeing the cowas laying down in the meadows, yes the cows in Ireland do a lot of laying down, she wished to become a cow so she could sleep all day.

I told her you re young, beautiful ,how will you look like with 4 stomachs? And just imagine at the end they ll use your skin for fine leather shoes. After some thinking she decided to withdraw her wish.

2,5 hours after leaving Dublin the train arrived at Galway we were picked up by a rather old but clear speaking guy who was the driver and the guide and drove very fast with our small coach with 24 people and 9 notionalities. Main attraction of the tour was the kylemore Abbey and church. We had a stop of two hours for seeing the abbey and have lunch. You had to walk in between terrible showers but every now and than it stopped for 10 minutes or so,

On the way sheep everywhere. The higher the sheep are in the mountains the better the weather. Did not see any sheep high. A lot of sheep are blackheaded what looks very good some of them were naked already and some had still their woolen coat.

Temperature went down to 13 degrees. Before leaving Galway I took a pint Guiness. Back in hotel 21.30
