Question: What disparity exists between social classes in the U.K? Does the country do anything to support the poor?



England use to have a class named estates, which were people that married within the group. So, the main thing from this was that they would only marry people that were rich like them. Likewise, it was the same thing for people in the middle class or poor people.However, the big thing that is determined now is how well you're education and still wealth. For example, The House of Lords has the power and are the upper class in England.

In England 1 out of 5 people are living below poverty levels. The way they treat the people that are living in poverty is the same way as they had money to show them respect. The programs they have in England are food banks to help feed a struggling family. They also have programs to help woman get back on their feet to start support themselves. They also have programs to help woman to get more power in England.
