Wimbledon

I still need to get the Wimbledon journal from Beck and Kate, but below is my day.

Today there was meant to be school cricket followed by a staff leaving dinner for Sue Cahill. The cricket was called off due to the soccer, so we went to a pub straight after school. We went to ‘The Oaks’ pub which is famous for a son killing his dad with a samurai sword. The story goes that the son was kicked out of the pub, went home to get the sword, his dad raced down to the pub to stop him and I guess you can work out the rest. Nothing as tragic occurred during our few pints watching Germany beat Argentina in penalties.
After this we went to another pub in Stanford before turning up at the staff do.
Ravi found the red wine to his liking, and the food was really good. I tried Chinese beer which was really nice. We got home about midnight.
