Oysters and Champagne to cure a Hangover!Oysters and Champagne to cure a Hangover!Oysters and Champagne to cure a Hangover!

...Timmy eating 12, NOT, to cure a hangover! haha
The chunnel to London was not enjoyable for Emily considering she was EXTREMELY hungover from the night before...I guess we havent matured as much as we thought we did. The morning didnt get any better when we were going through customs, did not realize that we were supposed to fill out a sheet to enter the UK, and the oh-so-polite customs person obnoxiously states "you must be Americans, did you not read the 6 signs before you got to the front that say--AMERICANS fill out this sheet before entering". Needless to say, Emily became a little sassy, gave him major attitude and we filled out the sheet, finally allowed to board the train. The train ride was fast and beautiful. Seeing the countryside in France made us more excited to get to London.

Once we got checked into our hostel, we decided to shower and roam the streets of London with the goal of seeing the London Eye and Big Ben. After another grocery store dinner, we head to the bar to start the drinking festivities for the night. Later in the night we met our new Aussie friends, bonded over David's shirt that was representing the Ducks, Chanting "Quack Quack Quack" in the bar, having countless drinks, shots of tequila (That damn Americano song!), and putting straws in our ears using them as blue toothes to communicate to one another. Typical. Then we thought that it would be a great idea to sing Kareoke! JDI-Isnt it funny that Emily loves Kareoke and you were forced to do it with the Japanese on business trips? haha After singing Return of the Mac, we made plans with our new friends to meet in the morning and rent bikes to explore London.

In the morning we found Timmy in his clothes from the previous night, Evan was still sleeping and David and Tyler were all ready to go. After an hour of reminising on the night before and drinking coffee, we decided to all head out as a group to find some bikes to rent. Unfortunately we werent able to rent bikes for the day, but that didnt stop us from having an amazing time. We stumbled upon an Oyster and Champagne stand, all of us getting a glass of champagne and the boys downing as many oysters as they could. We got peer-pressured into expanding our horrizons and trying something

new, so we both tried an Oyster. Salty, Slimy, and probably the only oyster that we will ever have in our entire lives. But they were good, we swear! As we are walking to try to find a park to play AFL aka Australian Football (which is nothing like American Football), we again stumble upon an place where we thought it would be a good idea to stop and have a beer. At the Walkabout (an Australian bar in London), one beer turned into 4pints (3 for Kendall), burgers, sandwhiches, and once again trying something new--we had Kangaroo! We both actually liked it--tastes like steak! Three hours later we finally leave the bar, DETERMINED to play some AFL. Not expecting the boys to actually play rough with us, we both got tossed around and beat up on the field--making it so much sweeter when we tackled them back. Well more like Kendall, Emily wasnt as agressive. It Started raining so we went back to the hostel to shower and get ready for the night. 'I bet you can't guess what comes next....we went down to the bar!

The next day we were going to go see Buckingham Palace but

RETURN OF THE MACK...here it is
it started to rain again so we decided that we were both very tired, hungover, and wanted to have an easy day. We went to the O2 which is a major entertainment center to see Twilight. Yes, we saw a movie while we were in London. Just what we needed, we both felt so much better afterwards. That night we met our friend from Rome Levi and his friend for a beer in Covert Garden. Had a great time trying new beers and different drinks. Making it back in time to say goodbye to our Aussie friends who were leaving at 2am.

Thankfully it was not raining the next morning so we headed out to see St. Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, and Picadelli Circus (like Time Sqaure in NYC). As we were walking back to the hostel we ran into the Natural Art Museum seeing pictures painted by Van Gough, De Gah (spelling??) and many more. Emily was very excited that she got to see the painting "De Gah Dancers" her favorite. Later that night with a tip from Darren, we went to Bricklane to try some of the imfamous London curry. It was delicious but SPICY. After dinner and a free bottle of wine we went to a pub and made friends with some locals. Dancing the night away, we realized that we had only 15 minutes to make the tube home. We RAN to the station, threw the station and barely made it! We get home safe and head to bed, setting our alarm clocks for 3am to go to make our flight at 6:30 am. Setting us up for an interesting morning ha....stay tuned it gets better
